Miss Preetha Muthayya has been a Consultant Burns and Plastic Surgeon at the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Teaching Trust since 2015. She completed her plastic surgery specialist training within the Yorkshire, Trent and Humber rotation (2008-2015) and went on to do her Burn Surgical and Critical Care Fellowship at the Shriner’s Hospital for Children and University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas between 2013- 2014. She joined the team at Mid Yorkshire Plastic Surgery Team and Pinderfields Burn Centre in 2015 and is the clinical lead for Burns. She has a special interest in Burns, scars,  reconstructive surgery and management of benign and malignant skin lesions.
