The clinic provides the option to request blood tests without consultation*. The clinic offers a number of packages or can quote for a bespoke package of blood tests if you have specific needs.​

Please read the following important information about how we process blood tests when they are requested without a consultation, and what this means for you.

Sometimes patients wish to have a blood test without seeing one of our doctors. You may choose this option because:

• A health professional has suggested a test, but it is not part of the standard NHS pathway,

• You would like the test completed more quickly, or

• You want reassurance about your health.

We are happy to offer this service; however, it is essential that you understand the limitations and responsibilities involved.

What This Service Includes

When you request a blood test without a consultation, we will:

• Arrange and perform the blood test you have requested.

• Provide you with the laboratory report once the results are available.

• Offer the option to book a separate consultation if you would like a doctor to interpret your results in detail or if anything abnormal is detected.

What This Service Does Not Include

Because you have chosen not to have a consultation:

• We do not provide clinical interpretation of results as part of this test-only service.

• We do not provide diagnosis, management plans, or prescriptions based purely on a lab report.

• We do not take responsibility for determining whether the test is clinically appropriate.

• We do not automatically follow up abnormal results — follow‑up is your responsibility unless you choose to book a consultation.

If you require medical advice, explanation of your results, or further assessment, a separate paid consultation will be required.

Your Responsibilities

By choosing a blood test without a consultation, you agree that:

• You are requesting the test based on your own judgement or on informal advice from another source.

• You understand the test may not answer your health concern without clinical assessment.

• You are responsible for reviewing your results when they are issued.

• You will book a consultation if you need medical interpretation or if any results are abnormal.

This ensures your safety while allowing you the freedom to self-request testing when appropriate.

What Happens When Your Results Are Ready?

• You will receive the raw laboratory report (usually by email or through your preferred method).

• If the results are abnormal, we will recommend that you book a consultation — but this is not included in the test-only fee.

• If you wish to discuss results, symptoms, or treatment options, you can book a GP appointment at any time.
